Aon Risk Solutions appoints execs in Chicago and Sacramento

Aon Risk Solutions, the global risk management business of Aon, has appointed Jason Toland as producer and account executive in the Sacramento office, and promoted Don Ortegel as resident managing director in Chicago.

In his new role, Toland will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic risk management solutions for clients within the trucking and transportation space. Prior to this, he served as a broker and account executive with Ascension.

Ortegel, who most recently served as Chicago chief operating officer (COO) and account management team leader, will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day business and financial operations in the new role.
