Aon’s ‘hand was forced’ on Willis talks by Marsh-JLT deal

Re/insurance broker Aon’s shock revelation yesterday (Tuesday March 5) that it was mulling a takeover of Willis Towers Watson (WTW) is a result of its hand being forced by Marsh & McLennan’s pending takeover of Jardine Lloyd Thompson (JLT), according to sources close to the company.
