Aon to close down globally for two days

Global broker  Aon will shut all its offices globally for two days this week – as a thank you to the challenges its staff have worked through during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The broker will shut all its operations globally on Thursday April 1 and Friday April 2. The company said the needs of clients that need service on these days will be met by its staff as required. Any individuals that work as a result will be able to take time off another time.

An Aon spokesperson stated: “We are closing operations and taking a global holiday on both Thursday, April 1 and Friday, April 2, offering colleagues extra time away to express appreciation for them during this unprecedented time.

“Our colleagues continue to remain dedicated in meeting the needs of our clients and, if they have a need to engage with our clients during this period, we’ll provide alternative arrangements for them to receive time away.”
