Aon to create new insurance jobs in Europe; expand in auto & mobility markets

Global re/insurance broker  Aon is to launch its first digital client solutions office in Malta, creating new job opportunities for insurance experts in Europe, in a move aimed at expanding its digital insurance presence internationally in the automotive and mobility markets.

The new office will open in June. Aon seeks to bring capabilities in managing end-to-end customer journeys from acquisition to management and claims and retention to new countries in Europe, helping to scale its digital client solutions global platform.

“By delivering disruptive and digitally enabled motor insurance solutions across multiple countries in Europe that help clients make better decisions, we have an unique opportunity to accelerate our growth in the automotive and mobility space and further help underserved markets,” said Raffi Turco, global head of business development for Aon’s Digital Client Solutions.

“Our investment in Malta will also open job opportunities to talent in the region and we look forward to welcoming new colleagues to our space.”

Matthew Maunder, solution line COO for EMEA at Aon, added: “We are thrilled to open our new location in Malta that introduces Aon’s Digital Client Solutions capabilities to a new international client base across multiple countries. Tech-based insurance solutions are the next generation of our industry and we’re excited to be at the forefront of delivering this innovation across Europe.”
