Aon UK appoints new chief risk officer from JLT
Broker Aon UK has hired Matt Kimber as new chief risk officer (CRO) from Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group (JLT).
Kimber replaces John Nicholson who has been interim CRO for the last 11 months.
Prior to Aon, Kimber was group head of risk & compliance at JLT for five years, and in a career spanning 20 years he has has worked at Marsh, HBOS and Lloyds.
Kimber will report to Aon UK CEO Julie Page, and will join the Aon UK board.
Page said: “Matt brings great energy and experience to our Risk and Compliance team and we are delighted to have him on board. I would also like to thank John for the excellent job he has done as interim CRO and wish him well as he returns to his role as a non-executive director on the Aon UK Ltd board.”
