Arch appoints senior vice president of ceded reinsurance

Arch Insurance International, part of Bermuda-based Arch Capital Group, has promoted Krista Bonneau to the position of senior vice president of ceded reinsurance.

In her new role, Bonneau will be responsible for managing all reinsurance programmes across Arch Insurance International’s portfolio. Based in London, she will report to Amy Flanagan, executive vice president of ceded reinsurance and Hugh Sturgess, president & chief executive officer of Arch Insurance International.

Most recently, Bonneau was vice president of ceded reinsurance for the company. She joined Arch in 2010 and was an associate underwriter prior to joining the ceded reinsurance team in 2014 as an assistant vice president. She has also previously worked for Towers Perrin as a reinsurance associate.

Sturgess said: “We are delighted to announce Krista’s promotion to Senior Vice President, a move which is thoroughly deserved. Having worked for Arch for over 10 years, including eight years with a specific reinsurance focus, her granular understanding of our exposure profile is vital to further developing a robust reinsurance platform to support Arch’s continued growth.”
