Ariel Re unveils swathe of promotions in London and Bermuda

Multi-line reinsurer  Ariel Re has promoted 12 staff in its London and Bermuda offices as part of its drive to be an ‘academy firm’ where leading reinsurance professionals can develop their careers.

The promotions cover a range of roles from underwriting and accounting through to analytics and portfolio management.

“When we redeveloped our culture in 2021, our vision was for Ariel Re to be the preferred destination for talented reinsurance professionals worldwide,” said head of human resources Lindsay Hyland. “We also said that we wanted to be known as an ‘academy firm’ - a place where the best in the industry work and come to enhance their knowledge and careers.

“I am delighted that we are fulfilling this mission by giving a well-deserved promotion to some of the wonderfully talented staff we have in the company.”

Executives promoted include Connor Bradbury, assistant underwriter; Caroline Caton, systems analyst; Brian Darling, senior analyst, portfolio management; Nelia Duarte, AP finance manager; Sierra Fisher, financial accountant; JayLynn Hines, assistant underwriter; Kyra Hodsoll, assistant manager, operations; Sophia Marshall, senior reinsurance analyst; Ben Martin, AVP, security and infrastructure; Carolina Medeiros, assistant underwriter; Sarah Morgan, SVP, property underwriting; and David Wade, AVP, analytics.
