Argenta Syndicate Management (ASML), a subsidiary of Argenta Holdings, has appointed Mark Palmer as political risks underwriter to Argenta Syndicate 2121, reporting to Ian Maguire, active underwriter.
Palmer has over 24 years of experience in the financial services sector having held a number of senior positions with commodity trade finance banks and insurers.
He most recently served as head of London Market Underwriting at Atradius Credit Insurance, where he underwrote a portfolio of credit and political risk insurance structures.
He joins us from Atradius Credit Insurance NV where he held the position of Head of London Market Underwriting, underwriting a portfolio of short, medium and long term credit and political risk insurance structures.
Maguire commented: “Mark has an excellent track record at well-respected institutions in the Lloyd’s and London markets. The introduction of the new account is a key development in the growth of Syndicate 2121.
