Beazley's Lake to replace Bride as group finance director amid board reshuffle

Specialty insurer Beazley has appointed Sally Lake to replace Martin Bride as the group finance director.

Bride has stepped down from the board, and will retire from Beazley at the end of August.

Additionally, Angela Crawford-Ingle will be standing down from the board at the conclusion of the 2018 accounting year and when the handover to her successor is complete.

John Reizenstein will succeed Crawford-Ingle as chair of the audit and risk committee with effect from May 31.

Beazley's chairman David Roberts said: "I am delighted to welcome Sally to the Beazley plc board. The board is immensely grateful to Martin for his 10 years of service and great contribution to Beazley and its growth and we wish him well in his retirement. The board also thanks Angela for her tremendous contribution and wishes her well."
