Broker Aon taps corporate client leader to lead UK complex risk team

Global insurance broker  Aon will take its existing leader for UK major corporate clients and add what it calls “major complex” cases to her slate.

Michelle Mason, Aon’s head of enterprise clients for the past year, will now take on strategic leadership of the UK major complex and enterprise (MCE) segment.

Mason started with Aon in the UK in 2017 as managing director of the global and specialty business before taking the enterprise client leadership role at the end of last year. But she has nearly 30 years in the business, having started with Marsh in 1994 before moving to JLT in 2008.

Aon’s CEO in the UK Julie Page said: “It’s great that Michelle’s experience in leading the UK ECG [enterprise client] team can now be applied to developing solutions to help our MCE clients. With their complex needs, we know that there are capabilities from across the breadth of Aon which will be hugely beneficial in helping them solve their business challenges.”
