Century partners with Arch on D&O service

Century Underwriting has launched a professional indemnity and directors and officers (D&O) service to accompany its existing property owners and motor fleet business units. The new service is part of the underwriter’s five-year diversification plan.  Partnering with the A+ rated insurer, Arch, the products are targeted at companies and partnerships with annual turnover of up to £100 million. John Levett, operations manager, Century, will lead the new UK professions division.     Guy Fraser, managing director of Century Underwriting, said: “Our new UK professions division is part of a diversification strategy to bring new resources to our brokers. Our ability to develop coverages with a specialist A rated insurer has created a fresh market for many of our regional supporters.”  Fraser added: “Century will continue to grow our range of products with experienced capacity partners alongside our specialist focus on commercial motor.”
