Chaucer lures QBE exec

Lloyd’s insurer Chaucer has appointed Lauren Percival as senior general liability underwriter in the casualty division.

Percival will specialise in international general liability focusing on risks in South America and the Caribbean.

She joins from QBE, where she was international casualty underwriter and a specialist in South America, Middle East, Asia and the Caribbean business.

Mark Aaron, senior general liability underwriter, said: “I am pleased to welcome Lauren to our team. We write a worldwide portfolio, and Lauren’s in-depth underwriting experience and expertise will be a valuable asset to our brokers and clients.”

Percival added: "I am delighted to join Chaucer's general liability team and look forward to helping with the development of their successful international liability portfolio.”
