Global Atlantic names new CFO and chief actuary of Bermuda

Annuity and life insurance company  Global Atlantic Financial Group has appointed a new chief financial officer and chief actuary of its Bermuda business.

Alberto Autmezguine (pictured) joins Global Atlantic from Oceanview Reinsurance, where he was president and CEO.

Prior to that, Autmezguine was head of individual annuity valuation at Prudential Financial and spent over a decade at ACE Group.

In his new role, he will report to Manu Sareen, president of its institutional markets business.

“I’m thrilled to have Alberto supporting the continued growth and success of the institutional business,” said Sareen. “His vast experience and deep industry knowledge will be invaluable to the team as we continue to invest in our Bermuda operations and develop best-in-class finance and actuarial capabilities.”
