Higher interest rates are no silver bullet

Rising interest rates won’t, on their own, improve reinsurers’ operational earnings, and that they will is a common myth that needs to be dispelled—or at least better understood—by the industry, Stuart Shipperlee, head of analysis at Litmus Analysis, told Baden-Baden Today.
