Insurers to bear ‘75% or more’ of Hawaii wildfires losses: Moody’s RMS

Wildfires on Hawaii’s Maui are likely to cause an economic toll of up to $6 billion, with insured losses likely accounting for 75% or more of the total, global catastrophe risk modeller  Moody’s RMS has predicted.
