JLT Re appoints new CEO of Asia Pacific from Aon Benfield

Reinsurance broker JLT Re has appointed Aon's chief operating officer as its Asia Pacific CEO. Jeremy Fox replaces Stuart Beatty, who is leaving the business to pursue alternative career opportunities.

Fox will be based in Singapore, reporting into Mike Reynolds, global CEO of JLT Re and will be joining the company later in 2018 after fulfilling his current contractual obligations.

Fox will also become a member of JLT's reinsurance global executive committee.

Fox has worked for EW Payne, Denis Clayton and Aon over his career. Much of his career has been focused on the APAC region across both treaty and facultative business. Most recently, Fox has been the chief operating officer for Aon Benfield, Asia Pacific.
