JLT Specialty taps Marsh VP in US

The US subsidiary of broker Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group (JLT) has appointed David Turner as vice president in New York.

Turner will join JLT's financial institutions (FI) practice based in New York, and focus on the business development of investment managers and private equity firms.

Prior to this, Turner served as the vice president of Marsh & McLennan, where his responsibilities included developing new client relationships with senior executives in the financial institution industry.

David Payne, chief revenue officer at JLT Specialty US, said: “We are pleased to have David join our team in New York. JLT is committed to providing its clients with superior industry and product-based expertise, and David’s appointment is yet another validation of our dedication to the investment management and FI practice.”
