Lancashire lures Chubb/Convex executives in latest hiring

Bermuda-based specialty re/insurer  Lancashire Holdings has appointed new heads of airline, engineering and reward, in a series of senior hires from the likes of  Chubb and  Convex.

Senior aviation underwriter Angus Roberts (Pictured) has joined as head of airline, Francis Lobo has been appointed head of engineering, and Nicola Nairn has joined Lancashire as head of reward.

Roberts comes from Chubb, Lobo from Convex, and Nairn joins the firm from DS Smith.

Additionally, Ashima Jain, James Rackham, Maisee Sareen and Ryan Kinsella have joined the company as underwriting assistants.

Herbert Kerr has been appointed exposure management manager, and Matthew Rowley and Ben Brown have joined as database developer and data architect, respectively.
