Lockton expands real estate practice with new hire

Insurance broker Lockton has expanded its London-based real estate and construction practice with the hire of Justin Warents as business development executive.

Warents joins a team based in London, North London, Manchester and Birmingham. He brings 16 years of experience in the real estate sector having undertaken finance roles at Freshwater Group, part of Daejan Holdings, Englander Group, and most recently Quinata Property Group.

Warents has been involved with the acquisition and disposal of over £1 billion of assets in a variety of asset classes including residential, retail and offices.

Richard Owen, LLP partner and board member, said: "Our specialist practice has been developed over many years and we continue to invest heavily in both the training and hiring of some of the insurance market's best people. Our success relies on the exceptional standard of service we consistently provide to our clients and the commitment we make to meet their changing needs.

"Justin's skillset will enhance our offering to clients both in the UK and throughout the rest of the world."
