Former Marsh cyber specialist joins Munich Re

A cyber specialist who previously worked for  Marsh Specialty has landed a new job at  Munich Re Specialty Insurance, a division of global reinsurance giant  Munich Re.

Monica Tigleanu (pictured) has joined Munich Re Specialty as a senior cyber underwriter in London.

It had been announced that Tigleanu intended to join Lockton Re; however, she has now instead accepted the role at Munich Re. Tigleanu previously served as SVP cyber, media & technology at Marsh Specialty, having joined the business in 2018.

Previously, Tigleanu held a number of underwriting positions at Beazley and AIG in London and Canada. She also worked for Munich Re as a consultant back in 2018, and as an underwriter for management liability and cyber at the start of her career.
