MS Amlin reports £570m loss in 9M
MS Amlin has reported a net loss of ¥84.900 billion (£569 million) for the nine months ended Dec. 31, 2017 after a net profit of ¥18.60 billion in the same period of 2016.
Net premiums written fell to ¥352.00 billion from ¥387.00 billion over the period.
MS Amlin has recorded ¥87.4 billion ($780 million) in nat cat losses including hurricanes Harvey, Irma and Maria as well as earthquakes in Mexico.
