RPS improves crisis management solution for small businesses

Risk Placement Services (RPS), a managing general underwriter and wholesale insurance broker, has enhanced its crisis management solution for businesses.

RPS said the product is designed with small businesses in mind, offering indemnities for first and third parties. Additionally, it will provide crisis response consultant costs up to $1 million for pre- and post-incident risk management services for a range of security events such as civil commotion, radicalisation, hostage crisis and threats.

“The pandemic and recent protests have heightened the number and scale of risks felt by businesses,” said Comber McHugh, Senior National Broker, Risk Placement Services. “As the security environment in which businesses operate rapidly evolves, this enhanced product will help clients meet their duty of care to employees; meet regulatory and legal obligations in regard to protecting their people; and ensure they are best placed to recover and rebuild should a crisis occur.”
