Sportscover strengthens London underwriting team

Sportscover Europe has broadened the experience within its London underwriting team by appointing Simon Bowring and Gary Pigot as senior underwriters.

Bowring joins as senior development underwriter. He was previously with Towergate Entertainment, where he was the head of the new business unit. He takes up the new appointment from 26 August 2014.

Pigot, who started with Sportscover Europe last week as senior underwriter, specialises in accident and health insurance and property and casualty insurance. He has previously worked at BUPA and Miles Smith.

Chris Hootton, who has been with Sportscover since 2009, is also promoted to the position of underwriter.
