Swiss Re Corporate Solutions picks Slack as head of wholesale

Swiss Re Corporate Solutions, the primary insurance arm of  Swiss Re, has appointed Melanie Slack as head of wholesale for UK, Ireland, SA & EMEA, effective May 2021.

She will be responsible for managing the strategy, development and performance of the company's presence in the British, Irish and South African corporate insurance markets. She is currently Country Head Australia & New Zealand at Swiss Re Corporate Solutions and will relocate from Sydney to London.

Slack joined Swiss Re Group in 2001, where she held a range of senior management positions in underwriting, internal audit and public private partnerships. She has over 30 years of experience in the re/insurance industry, and has worked in Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Switzerland, the UK and the USA.
