Swiss Re taps AXIS for North America distribution leadership role

Swiss Re Corporate Solutions, the commercial insurance arm of Swiss Re Group, has hired a new head of distribution management North America, who joins from AXIS Capital.

Prior to joining Swiss Re this month, Peter Mondi was strategic broker relationship leader for the North America retail division at AXIS Capital, based in Chicago. Before that, he worked as a senior distribution director North America at Allianz Global Corporate and Specialty (AGCS).

In his new role, Mondi will lead a team responsible for the broker engagement & strategy for the US and Canada at Swiss Re Corporate Solutions. Based in Chicago, he will report to Allen Kwan, head of customer & distribution North America.

Kwan said: “I'm confident that Peter's strong distribution experience and expertise will increase our ability to provide exceptional solutions for our brokers.”
