Swiss Re taps ex-Zurich/Aviva to bolster P&C analytics in APAC

Global reinsurer  Swiss Re has appointed a new head of property & casualty analytics to offer cutting-edge data and analytics solutions to its clients in Asia Pacific (APAC).

Monami Mukherjee (pictured) joins the reinsurer in Singapore with 17 years of experience across P&C actuarial and strategy operations in primary markets and management consulting, across the UK, US and South-East Asia markets. She specialises in strategy and operation transformation, loss valuation, capital modelling, price optimisation, data analytics, M&A due diligence and regulatory reporting.

Mukherjee has previously worked at Zurich Insurance Company and Aviva in London in corporate actuary and lead rating analyst roles, respectively. She has also served in as management consultant, actuarial & insurance at Deloitte Consulting for more than seven years, and most recently as an associate partner, head of insurance pratice APAC at Synpulse Management Consulting.
