TMK expands property owners team with another hire

Specialist and corporate insurance provider Tokio Marine Kiln (TMK) has appointed David Thomas as a senior underwriter based in London covering its property owners portfolio.

Thomas joins the property/casualty team and will focus on expanding its corporate and commercial property portfolio across Europe. He will work alongside Ann Kelly who joined in 2016 as property owners strategic director to develop the team's business proposition.

Kelly said: "This is an exciting time for TMK as we look to build our commercial and residential property owners' book of business. David brings a wealth of experience in this sector and will be a great addition to the team."

Paul Dreblow, divisional head of retail property underwriting at TMK, added: "The appointment of another experienced underwriter to our property owners team demonstrates our ambition to grow profitably in this important sector by providing depth of experience and a first class service to our clients."
