Willis Re picks PartnerRe's Büker as head of Lloyd’s capital

PartnerRe's Michel Büker has joined reinsurance broker Willis Re to take up a dual role as head of Lloyd’s capital at Willis Re Specialty, and head of production, customised solutions for EMEA.

Büker has held positions with PartnerRe where he was the CEO of the entity that provided capital to Lloyd’s syndicates. Prior to that, he was the head of global clients and London Market business of PartnerRe.

His career also includes underwriting and underwriting management roles in various territories and classes with Paris Re and AXA Re.

In his new role, Büker will be responsible for extending Willis Re’s relationships with the Lloyd’s sector and assisting the specialty team in developing bespoke solutions for clients.
