Willis strengthens Arizona operations

Willis North America has strengthened its Arizona operations by appointing Carolyn Smith as managing partner. She succeeds K Wagner who has taken up the position of national partner west region.

Smith will oversee Willis’s Arizona and Nevada operations and be responsible for business development. She will focus on strategic planning, heightening client service and retention, recruiting and staff development. In addition, she will work to align resources from across Willis’ global platform to deliver the best solutions and services to regional clients. She will report to Wagner.

Smith has extensive experience in the insurance industry. She joined Willis in 1988 and previously served as executive vice president, Willis Global Solutions, Willis North America.
