Willis Towers Watson completes OAAGC deal

Broker Willis Towers Watson (WTW) has completed the acquisition of OAAGC's team and book of business following a week-long negotiation with the French aviation brokerage firm.

Following the transaction, the aviation insurance team of Paris-based OAAGC (Office d’Assurances Aériennes G. de Cugnac) has joined WTW's global aerospace team, making it a leading aviation broker in France, the company said in a statement.

The broker had announced on February 20 that the acquisition will transfer OAAGC's book of business and entire team to WTW, which also operates in France as Gras Savoye and earlier owned 40 percent of OAAGC. It also said that OAAGC's existing client base will continue to be serviced by the same experts.
