WTW launches global D&O excess facility with $80m capital access
Global broker WTW has launched a new commercial directors and officers (D&O) facility with access to capital up to $80 million.
A Star is a cutting-edge excess layer D&O insurance solution for directors and officers. The new facility provides streamlined access to up to $80 million additional capacity for directors' & officers' liability insurance, ensuring comprehensive protection for non-indemnified loss scenarios.
A-Star provides a vital protective layer above primary directors' & officers' insurance. With enhanced coverage and additional capacity, it will provide directors, officers, and insured individuals with peace of mind in the face of uncertainties, the company said. A-Star safeguards against liabilities not indemnified by their company, be it due to legal restrictions, insolvency, or denial of indemnification.
Eve Richards, FINEX GB Head of D&O, said: “A-Star directly responds to our clients' evolving needs, underscoring our unwavering commitment to their success in a dynamic business landscape. Our annual D&O survey further demonstrates our dedication to providing client-centric solutions."
Marcus Porter-Wight, head of GB FINEX, WTW, added: "A-Star's unique structure harnesses the benefits of both Lloyd’s and Company market capacity, offering dynamic solutions tailored to our clients' needs. It provides our clients with dedicated coverage that shields their directors and officers from uncertainties. This innovative solution is a direct response to our clients' evolving needs, reflecting our unwavering commitment to their success in a dynamic business landscape.”
