WTW picks Marsh/JLT leader for global P&C expansion

Global broker  WTW has hired a former Marsh/JLT leader for its direct & facultative practice as part of the company’s ongoing expansion of the global P&C business.

Kiran Nayee (pictured) has been appointed as client relationship director for large and complex casualty risks, reporting into Garret Gaughan, head of direct & facultative.

Nayee was formerly head of strategic placement and casualty practice leader for EMEA at Marsh, and prior to that was head of major risk casualty placement and global product recall at JLT Specialty.

In his new role, Nayee will be responsible for complex casualty placements for clients within the direct and facultative global line of business. He will provide clients with access to the global marketplace to develop risk solutions. He will also be responsible for product development and new business growth.

Garret Gaughan, direct & facultative, WTW, said: “We are delighted to welcome Kiran to the WTW team. He brings over 25 years of extensive industry experience and his appointment coincides with the ongoing expansion of our global P&C business. Kiran is well known to clients as well as the wider global market. His appointment demonstrates our commitment to attract talent and continue to grow by providing a solution-oriented, innovative approach for our clients.

Nayee commented: “This is an exciting time to be joining WTW. I was drawn by the way the teams work collaboratively across the globe, which I believe is a real differentiator. This enables us to drive the best solutions for our clients by focussing on their needs without distraction.”
