J.C. Flowers backs Niyam to launch India-based Lloyd’s reinsurance syndicate

US investment firm JC Flowers & Co has invested in Niyam Group and is leading the launch of Niyam Syndicate 2047, a new Lloyd’s syndicate based in India’s GIFT City. The move creates a domestic reinsurance platform offering AA- rated capacity, connecting global capital with opportunities in India and other high-growth markets. Underwriting is set to begin on April 1.
