
Lloyd’s and seven syndicates earn upgrades after central fund insurance renewed
Global insurance and reinsurance marketplace Lloyd’s of London, along with seven of its syndicates, has received a ratings upgrade from AM Best after CFO Burkhard Keese confirmed the early renewal of the central fund insurance for another five years and said that it is exploring a post major market loss contingent capital solution. The upgrade reflects AM Best’s confidence in Lloyd’s “ability to attract and retain investors”.
