Lockton snags Aon senior leader to fuel strategic growth and attract talent

Global brokerage Lockton has tapped a 15-year Aon veteran to spearhead strategic initiatives, attract talent, and develop innovative solutions to drive the company’s growth.

Steve Goldenberg (pictured) is joining Lockton as executive vice president, operations, reporting to chief executive officer Peter Clune. He will relocate to Lockton’s headquarters in Kansas City and work alongside the global executive team to lead strategic initiatives.

Goldenberg comes from Aon where he held several senior leadership roles throughout his 15-year tenure, including most recently serving as global chief operating officer, commercial risk solutions. Prior to Aon, Goldenberg spent several years at McKinsey & Company. 

Lockton said Goldenberg’s move “continues the trend of top industry talent choosing Lockton's private, entrepreneurial platform to build meaningful careers,” claiming that the organisation has experienced “unprecedented growth in recent years”.

Clune said: “Steve’s broad experience and expertise in driving strategy and developing talent will be a tremendous asset to Lockton as we continue our explosive worldwide growth.”
