Munich Re bullish on renewals after ‘record-breaking’ 30% profit surge
Munich Re has struck a bullish tone on renewals after a “record-breaking” 30% profit jump, achieved despite lower insurance and July renewals revenue, citing very low major-loss costs and an “attractive market” for disciplined growth. The group says it’s on track for full-year targets, with a €6 billion profit still in sight.
