Munich Re will grow away from P&C re to build balance to 2030

Global re/insurance group Munich Re may be a little less “Re” over the coming five years as works to hold margins in “a more competitive environment” in P&C reinsurance while focusing growth efforts in Ergo primary insurance units and its global specialty division for a more balanced, hence more resilient, group posture, outgoing CEO Joachim Wenning (pictured right) said of a new three year strategy.
