Africa Re appoints directors
African Reinsurance Corporation has appointed four new directors to the board.
Woldemichael Zeru, managing director of NICE, Eritrea, was elected to represent East & Southern Africa (States) and Sudan (State).
Karanja Kabage, chief executive officer (CEO) chairman of First Re, Kenya, will represent Anglophone West Africa (State & companies) and Eastern and Southern Africa (companies).
Hassan Boubrik, CEO of the Moroccan Insurance and Pensions Directorate, Morocco, was elected to represent the State and companies of Morocco.
John Burbridge will represent the International Finance Corporation (IFC, branch of the World Bank).
