AmRisc unveils leadership changes to support growth strategy

AmRisc Group, a catastrophe-focused managing general agent, has appointed a new chief executive officer (CEO) of its wholesale business, as part of an ongoing strategy to position the company and executive leadership team for future growth.

Molly Nickoles (pictured) has been named CEO of Waypoint Wholesale.

Nickoles previously served as the chief underwriting officer for the Builders Risk product. Based in Birmingham, she started her career as a senior underwriter with AmRisc Group in 2003.

Nickoles will be succeeded by Billy Hammond as CUO of Builders Risk for AmRisc Group. Marcus Kelley will lead as division president of the now-combined Waypoint Technical Risks and National Specialty.

Furthermore, Thomas Bonnarigo will step into the role of AmRisc’s chief underwriting officer of national accounts in 2022.

“Molly embodies our core values of innovation, leadership, integrity, excellence, and relationships. We are excited about the energy and expertise she will bring to serving our wholesale producers at Waypoint,” said Brian Reid, AmRisc Group CEO.

Laura Beckmann, president and chief operating officer of AmRisc Group, added: “Molly has been with AmRisc for 18 years and has been an incredible asset to our company since the beginning. She has been instrumental in growing our Builders Risk product, and I have no doubt she will add a tremendous amount of value in her new role as Waypoint CEO.”

Nickoles commented: “A key factor in our success is our partnerships. As the CEO of Waypoint, I want to continue to build the trust our wholesale partners have in our people, our products, and our services.”
