Aon snares Barclays senior exec to boost financial institutions practice
Global re/insurance broker Aon has strengthened its financial institutions (FI) expertise with the hiring of a Barclays senior executive.
Timothy Boodoo (pictured) joins as enterprise client leader, financial institutions. Based in Aon’s New York office, he reports directly to Petra Schmidt, managing partner, head of financial institutions vertical for North America.
Boodoo is charged with building client relationships and strengthening Aon’s financial institutions practice.
He brings more than 20 years of experience in the financial industry. Most recently he spent twelve years at Barclays, where he held roles accross senior relationship management and international corporate banking, focused on coverage for financial sponsors and asset managers. Earlier in his career, he spent time at BlackRock, Royce & Associates and AIG SunAmerica Asset Management Corporation.
