Berkshire Hathaway (BHSI) boosts executive & professional lines to meet high demand
Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance (BHSI) has expanded its US executive & professional lines leadership team citing "high demand" for its targeted management liability solutions in the current marketplace.
BHSI has hired Shelley Norman from AIG as senior vice president of management liability for the central region, based in its Chicago office. She has worked at AIG for more than 25 years, most recently as financial lines zonal executive, and previous leadership roles include head of private non-profit management liability for the US & Canada, and chief underwriting officer for the private non-profit, management liability team.
Additionally, Kevin Gallagher has been promoted to senior vice president of management liability for the east region, and Sean Cox to senior vice president of management liability for the west region.
Gallagher has 20 years of industry experience, he came to BHSI in 2013. Prior to that, he was assistant vice president for Arch Insurance’s executive assurance and financial lines group.
Cox, who has more than 16 years of experience in executive and professional lines, joined BHSI in 2014. He was previously assistant regional underwriting manager at AIG.
