BHSI gets Hong Kong licence; hires AIG execs

Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance (BHSI) has received an insurance license to carry business in and from Hong Kong and made a number of hired from AIG.

Kai Tse joins as chief financial officer (CFO) and chief operating officer, Asia. He most recently served as senior vice president and CFO at AIG Hong Kong.

Roseline Liu joins from AIG casualty, where most recently she served as vice president. She joins BHSI as vice president, casualty.

Ricky Ho has been appointed senior vice president, casualty. He joins BHSI with more than 30 years of insurance industry experience spanning both underwriting and claims.

Rounding out the new Hong Kong based team are Irene Li, assistant vice president, casualty and Ophelia Szeto, assistant vice president, property & terrorism.

BHSI's recently appointed president of Asia, Marc Breuil, is also based in this new office.
