Brokerslink bolsters broking and risk management expertise in Asia

Brokerslink, a global network of independent brokers, has appointed three new affiliates to strengthen its presence in the Asian insurance markets.

South Korean LK Insurance Services, Malaysia-based State Insurance Services and John Foord in Singapore have joined the broking network to help increase its capabilities and access to local expertise within the region.

Korean broking firm LK Insurance Services specialises in oil & gas, telecommunications, chemicals and logistics. With over 40 years’ experience, State Insurance Services is said to be the broking partner to over a thousand clients from publicly listed companies, international companies, and large corporations and SMEs in Malaysia.

Finally, John Foord is a global specialist valuation and appraisal practice headquartered in Singapore with offices throughout Europe and Asia. The company adds to Brokerslink’s specialist risk consulting and insurance service business.

Sid Garcia, regional manager, Asia Pacific said: “The expansion of our network in Asia underlines our commitment to supporting independent brokers across the region. Asia’s economic might and influence on global trade is contrasted somewhat by its insurance penetration levels when compared to western Europe and North America, therefore we are pleased to be able to give our brokers and insurer partners the opportunity to access and unlock the vast potential of Asian insurance markets.
