Charles Taylor appoints global head of fraud

Insurance services firm Charles Taylor has appointed Bobby Gracey as global head of fraud. He is the current chairman of the Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters (CILA) Anti-Fraud Committee.

The new role aims to strengthen and sharpen Charles Taylor’s existing counter fraud capabilities throughout the organisation, via class leading innovation, technology, thought leadership and operational cost containment solutions to the market.

Gracey has 25 years’ experience in the insurance counter fraud sector, having worked at the executive level with leading organisations globally, to raise awareness of claims fraud.

Damain Ely, CEO of Charles Taylor Adjusting, said: “As insurers across the world look to control claims costs, the conditions for a greater level of claims fraud can increase, so developing counter fraud capabilities becomes essential. This is the time to support our clients further by developing our counter fraud expertise. Bobby has demonstrated his strong knowledge and experience, making him the obvious choice to lead our global fraud function. We are delighted that he is joining us.”

Gracey commented: “Charles Taylor is the strongest provider of technical and professional services to insurers globally with unrivalled expertise in claims across multiple markets. I was particularly impressed by its global footprint and believe there is no one else in the market that can rival its claims operations. This is an exciting opportunity to strategically evolve its counter fraud function and assist Charles Taylor’s clients to better manage their claims expenses and loss ratios.”
