Claims Consortium director joins CII's Society of Claims Professionals
The Society of Claims Professionals (SOCP), within the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII), has appointed the director of Claims Consortium Group to its advisory board.
Claire Lashbrook is the director of operations and third party administration at Claims Consortium Group overseeing all claim operations including validations, repairs and out of hours.
She began her career with Claims Consortium Group in 2011 as a claims handler, then progressed on to service manager and operations manager before being appointed operations director in 2020. Lashbrook specialises in household claims and customer service, and is focused on driving positive changes in claim operations.
Lashbrook is currently president of the Exeter CII, having previously been the first Careers Officer for the Institute.
Sue McCall, chair of the Society of Claims Professionals, said: “Her rapid career progression demonstrates what a talented claims professional she is, and her previous involvement with the CII’s New Generation programme is a further endorsement of that. I look forward to working with her as we continue to provide insight and knowledge to our members across the sector.”
