CNA Hardy taps risk control director from Chubb

Specialist commercial insurance provider CNA Hardy has appointed Nick Bellamy as risk control director. He will be based in London, but his duties will span the UK and Continental Europe.

In this newly created role, Bellamy will be responsible for cyber and technology risk control across all CNA Hardy regions and will report to Stuart Kenyon, head of risk control. He will manage the overall assessment, evaluation and delivery of risk control consulting services, providing technical support for complex risk exposures to brokers and insured clients.

Bellamy has over 20 years’ experience in the insurance industry. In his most recent role, he was principal cyber risk engineer and technology industry practitioner at Chubb, responsible for conducting pre-bind and loss prevention surveys on complex large and multinational accounts. He specialises in both errors & omissions risk evaluations and cyber & information security risk management.

Kenyon said: “Nick’s wealth of technical competency and knowledge in cyber and technology will further broaden and enhance our comprehensive risk control capabilities and specialist proposition.
