Cunningham Lindsey rings the changes with new Malaysia CEO

Cunningham Lindsey, a provider of claims management services, has appointed a new chief executive in Malaysia.

Aldrin Wong, currently senior vice president of Major and Complex Loss, will assume the role from January 1, 2017.

Wong has led Cunningham Lindsey Malaysia’s engineering and construction team 17 years in the resolution of a range of major engineering, construction and liability claims. His core focus will be on enhancing client and partner relationships, improving client service delivery and managing claim costs.

Cunningham Lindsey has also announced that Lee Seet Chye and Jaswant Singh have been appointed as executive directors, responsible for a range of additional Insurer Services, and Liability and Specialty Claims, respectively. Both appointments will also be effective from January 1, 2017.

Out-going Malaysian CEO David Needham will return to the UK in the New Year.

Damon Bennett, Cunningham Lindsey CEO, Asia Pacific, said: “Aldrin brings with him a wealth of experience and technical expertise. I am confident that under his leadership, the team in Malaysia will build on the results and success they have achieved in recent years.

“I would like to thank David for his considerable contribution to the success of Cunningham Lindsey Asia, which has incorporated significant stints in both Indonesia and Malaysia.”
