Ed bolsters cyber offering with new hire
Reinsurance, wholesale and specialty broker Ed has hired Henry Warner from SafeOnline to further develop its cyber book.
As a cyber broker/producer, Warner will support the creation of a cyber centre of excellence at Ed. He will report to James Baird, divisional director, professional and executive risks (ProEx).
Warner joins from SafeOnline where he served as a cyber, media and technology, broker. He began his career at Marsh as a client adviser for cyber and professional indemnity risks.
“Henry is an excellent addition to our growing team. He has already made a name for himself in the cyber market based on his expertise and client focus," Baird said. "The introduction of GDPR in May, coupled with the increasingly visible impact of cyber-attacks on businesses, has heightened the need for robust and relevant cyber insurance cover.
