Everest Re boosts London team with Hiscox and Tokio Marine hires
Everest Reinsurance (Bermuda) has appointed new senior underwriters, Luke Armitage and Emma Gairdner, in its London team.
Armitage joins Everest Re’s London office as senior underwriter for motor business. Previously, Armitage spent 10 years with Hiscox Insurance as head of actuarial pricing.
Gairdner will be joining Everest from Tokio Marine Kiln as senior underwriter of accident & health business. She has spent 15 years with Tokio Marine Kiln in a similar capacity.
Andrew Carrier, head of Everest Re’s European operations, commented: "We are excited to have Luke and Emma join the Everest team. Both have the calibre and pedigree to bring Everest’s London reinsurance platform to the next level."
