Gallagher Re looks to Hiscox for global cyber expansion
Global reinsurance broker Gallagher Re has hired Hiscox’s group director of cyber underwriting to help expand its global cyber practice.
Liz Kim (pictured) will be based in San Francisco and work closely with Gallagher Re’s dedicated cyber teams in the US, Bermuda and London, while collaborating with the global cyber consultancy, analytics and alternative cyber solutions teams on a range of initiatives.
Kim brings 15 years’ direct industry experience to the role. She joins from Hiscox where she most recently held the role of group director of cyber underwriting, responsible for global cyber underwriting strategy including exposure management, coverage developments, pricing, claims performance and reinsurance strategy, as well as the execution of silent cyber reduction plans.
Previously as head of claims for Hiscox’s TMT division, Kim was responsible for managing all of its technology, media and cyber claims, before moving into product innovation and development.
